Too many women are locked out of programs that provide access to routine mammograms because of their inability to afford medical insurance coverage. For too many women, a diagnosis of breast cancer or even the possibility of breast cancer, creates insurmountable obstacles in accessing and receiving quality health care.
Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation has joined with the National Breast Cancer Coalition to educate consumers and policy-makers about the importance of guaranteed access to quality health care for all. We are asking women with breast cancer, who have personal stories about problems with access to quality care, to share them with us. By capturing the collective wisdom of women and their families, we can put a human face on the current crisis in health care and create a compelling need for change.
To share your story or learn more about how to participate in the "Stop Breast Cancer: Personal Stories, Public Action" campaign, call the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation at 215.564.3700 or email us.
